Dado Ćosić Wins the Golden Arena at the 73rd Pula Film Festival

We proudly congratulate our client Dado Ćosić on winning the prestigious Golden Arena for the Best Lead Actor at the 73rd Pula Film Festival for his outstanding performance as Lovro Horvat in Ivona Juka’s feature film BEAUTIFUL EVENING, BEAUTIFUL DAY (Lijepa večer, lijep dan).

The jury honored Ćosić with the festival’s highest acting award, stating:
“For an exceptionally courageous, sensual, and compelling performance that unites artistic passion, inner vulnerability and the dignity of a man confronted with repression, the Golden Arena for the Best Lead Actor is awarded to Dado Ćosić for his portrayal of Lovro in Beautiful Evening, Beautiful Day.”

Directed by Ivona Juka, BEAUTIFUL EVENING, BEAUTIFUL DAY is a powerful drama set in 1950s Yugoslavia. The story follows four close friends and celebrated filmmakers whose sexual orientation makes them targets of political suspicion. As a loyal Communist Party operative is assigned to dismantle their lives, their pursuit of artistic and personal freedom becomes a fight for survival.

The film was selected as Croatia’s official submission for the 97th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.
